Our Courses

Three structured courses through AI development

From a first look at Python to a complete AI project you can share — each course is designed to be a real step forward, not just an introduction to the next one.

How We Teach

A methodology built around steady, practical progress

Each Samong Studio course follows the same basic pattern: introduce a concept, show it applied, give you a task that requires you to use it, and provide feedback on the result. The idea is that understanding comes from doing, and that doing requires support rather than just instruction.

Courses are divided into weekly modules, each of which builds on the last. The material within each module is self-contained enough that missing a session does not leave you stranded — but connected enough that working through in order gives the clearest path.

Intro to AI and Coding

Course 1 · 12 weeks

Intro to AI and Coding

A welcoming first course for people taking their first real steps in programming. You cover Python fundamentals, basic data work, and the core concepts behind machine learning — always in small, manageable pieces with mentor support available throughout. The pace is gentle, and the exercises are chosen to build confidence rather than test the limits of what you know.

  • No prior programming knowledge needed
  • Python variables, functions, loops, and data structures
  • Introduction to pandas and working with tabular data
  • Core ML ideas: training, testing, evaluation
  • Flexible weekly study — six to eight hours suggested

How the course progresses:

1

Weeks 1–3: Python foundations and writing your first programmes

2

Weeks 4–7: Working with data using pandas and basic visualisation

3

Weeks 8–10: Machine learning concepts and your first model

4

Weeks 11–12: Final project and mentor review session

Course 2 · 16 weeks

Machine Learning in Practice

A hands-on course where the focus is on building and training models on datasets that resemble those you would encounter in a real project. You learn to read results critically — not just run the model and report the accuracy, but understand why it performed as it did and what you might try differently. Small peer group and regular mentor feedback throughout.

  • For learners with basic Python (or Intro course completed)
  • Supervised and unsupervised learning methods
  • Model evaluation, tuning, and interpretation
  • Three guided projects with written mentor feedback
  • Peer group discussion and collaborative problem-solving

How the course progresses:

1

Weeks 1–4: Data preparation and exploratory analysis

2

Weeks 5–9: Supervised models — regression, classification, evaluation

3

Weeks 10–13: Unsupervised methods and project 2

4

Weeks 14–16: Final project, peer review, mentor feedback

AI Developer Portfolio Track

Course 3 · 24 weeks

AI Developer Portfolio Track

A comprehensive programme for committed learners working toward a professional role in AI development. The course brings together model building, deployment, and modern tooling, organised around a portfolio project that develops alongside the curriculum. You receive structured mentor reviews at key stages, and the programme guides you through the skills that employers in the field tend to look for.

  • For learners who have completed Course 2 or equivalent
  • Deep learning and neural network fundamentals
  • Model deployment and API integration
  • Modern AI tooling — version control, environment management
  • Individual one-to-one mentor review sessions at three stages

How the course progresses:

1

Weeks 1–6: Deep learning foundations and project scoping

2

Weeks 7–13: Model development and first mentor review

3

Weeks 14–19: Deployment, tooling, second mentor review

4

Weeks 20–24: Portfolio completion and final review
