Terms & Conditions

These terms explain what you can expect from Samong Studio and what we ask of you when you enrol in one of our courses. Please read them carefully before enrolling.

01Definitions

Throughout this agreement, the following terms carry the meanings given below:

  • "Agreement" — these Terms & Conditions, together with any enrolment confirmation and any other documents incorporated by reference.
  • "Company", "We", "Us", "Our" — Samong Studio, registered in Thailand, operating from 215 Phetkasem Road, Bang Khae, Bangkok 10160.
  • "Service" — the online AI development courses and related learning resources provided by Samong Studio.
  • "User", "You", "Your" — any individual who accesses the Service, creates an account, or enrols in a course.
  • "Content" — all course materials, lessons, exercises, assessments, and supporting resources made available through the Service.
  • "Course" — a structured learning programme offered by Samong Studio, as described on our website.
  • "Enrolment" — the process by which a User registers and pays for access to a Course.

02Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in a course or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with enrolment.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to enrol. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete enrolment on your behalf and accept these terms.
  • You confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of Thailand.
  • If you are enrolling on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to this Agreement.

03Service Description

Samong Studio offers online courses in AI development delivered through a combination of written lessons, practical exercises, mentor feedback, and peer group interaction. Current courses are:

  • Intro to AI and Coding — 12 weeks, ฿7,300
  • Machine Learning in Practice — 16 weeks, ฿10,700
  • AI Developer Portfolio Track — 24 weeks, ฿14,000

Course availability is subject to sufficient enrolment. We reserve the right to reschedule a course start date with reasonable advance notice. Service access requires a stable internet connection; we are not responsible for interruptions caused by your connectivity.

We intend for the Service to be available at all reasonable times but do not commit to uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated where practicable.

04User Accounts

To access course materials you will create a personal account. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials confidential and not sharing them with others.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.

Each enrolment is for a single named individual. Account sharing is not permitted. We may suspend or close an account that shows signs of shared access without refund.

We may close your account at our discretion if you breach this Agreement or if your account has been inactive for an extended period following course completion.

05User Responsibilities

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service in a lawful, considerate manner. In particular, you must not:

  • Copy, share, or redistribute course materials without written permission.
  • Use the Service for commercial purposes other than developing your own professional skills.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or harvest data from our platform.
  • Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or unlawful content in any course forum or communication channel.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or qualifications.
  • Interfere with the operation of the Service or the experience of other learners.

Academic Integrity

We ask that all work submitted for feedback or assessment reflects your own efforts. You may discuss ideas with peers and mentors, but submitted exercises should represent your own understanding. Presenting others' work as your own undermines the learning process and may result in removal from the course without refund.

06Intellectual Property

All course content — including written materials, code examples, exercises, and assessment tasks — remains the intellectual property of Samong Studio or its licensors.

Upon enrolment and while your course access remains active, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the course materials solely for your own learning.

This licence does not permit you to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute course materials in any medium.
  • Create derivative works based on the content.
  • Sell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer your access rights.
  • Remove or obscure any copyright or attribution notices.

Work you produce during the course — your own code, written reflections, and portfolio project — remains yours. By sharing work in course forums, you grant us a limited licence to display it within the platform for educational purposes.

07Payment Terms

Fees and Currency

All fees are quoted and charged in Thai Baht (฿). The fee applicable to your enrolment is the fee stated at the time of purchase.

Payment

Full payment is required to confirm enrolment. Access to course materials is granted upon receipt of cleared payment. We accept the payment methods shown on our checkout page.

Refund Policy

We understand that circumstances change. Our refund policy is as follows:

  • Before course start: A full refund is available if requested at least 7 days before the scheduled start date.
  • Within the first two weeks: A partial refund of 50% is available if you have completed fewer than three lessons and request a refund in writing.
  • After the second week: No refund is available. We encourage you to contact us — we are glad to discuss deferral to a future cohort.

Refund requests should be sent to [email protected]. Processing typically takes 5–10 business days.

Deferral

If you are unable to continue a course due to circumstances outside your control, please contact us. We will consider deferral to a future cohort on a case-by-case basis.

08Course-Specific Terms

Enrolment and Access

Enrolment confirms your place in a specific cohort starting on the scheduled date. Course materials become accessible at the start of each week according to the course schedule.

Completion and Duration

Access to course materials is available for the full course duration plus an additional four weeks after the final scheduled week, to allow time to review content. Extended access beyond this period is not included in the standard fee.

Certificates

A certificate of completion is issued upon finishing all required exercises and submitting the final project. Certificates reflect the course completed and the skills practised; they are issued by Samong Studio and do not carry formal academic accreditation.

Mentor Support

Mentor availability is described in each course overview. Responses to submitted work typically arrive within 3–5 business days. Mentor feedback is provided in English.

09Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. While we put care into the quality and accuracy of our content, we make no representation that the Service will meet every individual learning objective or produce any specific professional outcome.

Progress and results depend on each learner's effort, prior experience, and time invested. We describe each course honestly, including the time and effort it asks of you, and we encourage you to read those descriptions carefully before enrolling.

Course content reflects practices current at the time of publication. The field of AI development changes rapidly; we update materials as practicable but cannot commit to real-time currency.

Nothing in these terms constitutes professional advice. Course content is for educational purposes only.

10Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Thai law, Samong Studio's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the relevant course.

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of income, business opportunity, or employment arising from use of or inability to use the Service.
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses of any kind.
  • Losses arising from your use of third-party tools or platforms recommended in course materials.
  • Interruptions to the Service caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including natural events, infrastructure failures, or government action).

Nothing in this clause limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot be excluded under Thai law.

11Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Samong Studio, its staff, and its mentors from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your breach of this Agreement.
  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Your misuse of the Service or course materials.
  • Content you submit or share within the Service that infringes a third party's rights.

12Termination

By You

You may discontinue your enrolment at any time. Refunds in this case are subject to the refund policy in Section 7.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach this Agreement, particularly the acceptable use provisions or academic integrity expectations. In cases of serious breach, termination may be without refund.

If we cancel a course cohort for operational reasons, enrolled students will receive either a full refund or the option to transfer to the next available cohort.

Effect of Termination

On termination, your licence to access course materials ends. Provisions of this Agreement that by their nature survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — continue in effect.

13Dispute Resolution

We hope that any concern can be resolved through a straightforward conversation. If you have a question or complaint, please write to us at [email protected] first. We will aim to respond within 10 business days.

If a matter cannot be resolved informally, the parties may consider mediation before pursuing formal proceedings.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bangkok, Thailand.

If you are a consumer resident in another country, you may also have rights under the consumer protection laws of your home jurisdiction that we are not able to exclude.

14General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and Samong Studio regarding the Service and supersedes any prior communications.
  • Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right under this Agreement on one occasion does not waive that right on future occasions.
  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under this Agreement without our prior written consent. We may assign our obligations to a successor organisation, in which case your enrolment and rights transfer accordingly.
  • Notices: Notices from us to you will be sent to the email address on your account. Notices from you to us should be sent to [email protected].

15Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. For significant changes, we will notify enrolled students by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

Continuing to use the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not accept a material change, you may request to discontinue your enrolment; refund eligibility will be assessed under the policy in Section 7.
