Samong Studio
Samong Studio — focused learning environment

Our Story

Patient teaching, honest work,
and a genuine interest in your progress

Samong Studio was founded in Bangkok with a straightforward idea: that learning AI development is entirely possible for people who are willing to put in steady, consistent effort — and that a good school makes that effort count.

About Us

Where Samong Studio came from

Samong Studio was set up in Bangkok by a small group of developers and educators who had spent years watching people try to learn coding and AI from scattered resources — tutorials that assumed too much, courses that moved too fast, and communities where beginners felt out of place. The school grew out of a shared frustration with that experience, and a belief that things could be done differently.

The name Samong comes from the Thai word for brain. It felt right for a school focused on developing real technical thinking, not just surface familiarity with tools. The idea from the start was to build courses that asked something of the learner — real effort, genuine engagement, and a willingness to sit with difficulty — while giving them proper support in return.

The school opened with a single introductory course and a handful of students. Over time, the programme has grown to three structured courses that take learners from a first line of Python all the way through to a deployable AI project. Each course has been revised based on what students actually found hard, what they found motivating, and what they were able to carry forward into their work after finishing.

Samong Studio operates entirely online, which means students across Thailand — and beyond — can study without relocating or reorganising their lives. The courses are built for people who have jobs, families, and other responsibilities. They are not designed to consume every available hour, but to make the hours you do have go further.

Patient progress

We design for steady, cumulative learning — not shortcuts. Each lesson earns the next one.

Genuine support

Mentors are present through the whole course, not just at the beginning. Questions are always welcome.

Honest about effort

We describe the real time and work each course takes. Learning AI development is rewarding — and it does take effort.

The People

Who teaches and supports you

WS

Wichai Srisuk

Lead Instructor & Co-founder

Ten years of software engineering experience, with the last five focused on applied machine learning. Wichai wrote the core curriculum for all three courses and leads the Portfolio Track mentoring sessions.

NK

Natthida Keawkla

Curriculum Designer & Mentor

Natthida holds a background in educational design and spent four years teaching data science at a Bangkok university before joining Samong Studio. She leads the Intro and ML in Practice courses.

PL

Prem Lertpong

Technical Mentor

Prem works as a freelance ML engineer and contributes to Samong Studio's mentoring programme, providing one-to-one project reviews for Portfolio Track students and answering technical questions across all cohorts.

How We Work

Standards we hold ourselves to

Curriculum review cycle

Course content is reviewed at the end of every cohort. Student feedback and mentor observations feed directly into updates, so the material stays relevant to how the field is actually moving.

Data privacy

Student data is stored securely and used only for course delivery and communication. We do not share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Mentor response time

We aim to respond to all student questions within one working day. For project feedback, mentors provide written reviews within three working days of submission.

Project-based assessment

Progress is measured through real work — exercises, projects, and applied tasks — rather than timed examinations. This reflects the way the field actually assesses ability.

Accessible learning materials

All written materials are reviewed for clarity before publication. Technical terms are explained when introduced, and examples are chosen to be understandable without prior specialist knowledge.

Transparent enrolment

Before you enrol, we encourage you to ask as many questions as you like. We will be straightforward about what each course involves, how much time it takes, and whether it suits where you are now.

AI development education in Bangkok

Samong Studio offers structured online courses in Python programming, machine learning, and AI development, with mentor guidance and real project work throughout. The school serves learners across Thailand who are looking to develop working knowledge of the tools and methods that shape modern software.

The field of AI development has grown quickly, and the range of available learning resources has grown with it — but the quality and depth of those resources varies considerably. Samong Studio focuses on depth over breadth: fewer topics covered more carefully, with time given to understanding why things work rather than simply what to type.

Each course is built on Python, the most widely used language for applied machine learning and AI work. Alongside technical skills, the programme develops the habits that matter in practice: reading documentation, interpreting results, debugging methodically, and building things that can be shared and used by others.

The school's location in Bangkok reflects a commitment to supporting the growing technology community in Thailand. Remote access means the courses are open to learners across the country, and the bilingual support environment means language is less of a barrier to asking questions.
